EXWYFE è un progetto con base a Milano, formatosi nel 2017 dalla collaborazione tra Emanuele Ferretti, cantante e musicista, e Giacomo Carlone, musicista e produttore.
Il duo tende a dare un piglio decisamente pop a sonorità di ricerca, con ispirazioni che vanno dalla techno francese alla drum'n bass e all'hip hop d'oltreoceano.
L'esterofilia di EXWYFE si completa poi, non solo con la scelta dell'inglese come lingua per i testi, ma anche con un sound decisamente scuro, con dichiarati riferimenti all'elettronica nord europea, come The Knife e Planningtorock.
Skinny Dog è il primo singolo del progetto EXWYFE in uscita per Cane Nero Dischi
